Opening hours Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage

Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage is open Friday to Sunday from noon to 4 pm for the rest of the year. Don’t wait too long to plan your visit, because from January 1 we will go into ‘hibernation’ for 1.5 months.

Open Friday till Sunday

Come and enjoy a breath of fresh air between the windmills. Step aboard our (heated) tour boat, visit our museum windmills, and warm up in our Kinderdijk-cafe. Kinderdijk UNESCO World Heritage is open the rest of the year on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 4pm. Don’t wait too long with your visit, because from January 1 to February 13, 2022 we will go into ‘hibernation’.

Covid-19 measures

When visiting the World Heritage Site, showing your coronavirus entry pass is required for everyone aged 13 and over. After this check you’ll receive a wristband for our visitor locations. Wearing a face mask and keeping 1.5 meters distance (two arms lengths) from each other is also mandatory.
