Blue hour

During the blue hour, the light is temporarily extra blue and that can produce beautiful, atmospheric photos.
Three photography tips:
1. Don’t wait too long, because in reality the blue hour lasts only about fifteen minutes.
2. Use a tripod because of the slower shutter speed.
3. With a slow shutter speed, the water in your photo also gets a beautiful milky color.

Mini-market

On Friday 11 September there will be a mini-market at Playground ‘t Balkengat in the village of Kinderdijk, between 4:00 pm – 10.00 pm.

COVID measures

The health of our guests, staff, volunteers and residents is at the top of the list at all times. Enjoying this unique part of Holland is perfectly possible at some distance from each other. We therefore ask you to respect the 1.5 meter distance also in te Illumination week.
