Photography workshop & cruise

Due to the corona pandemic, the ‘2020 edition’ has slimmed down slightly compared to previous years. The cafeteria in the Visitor Center is open on Friday and Saturday evening and it is possible to sail past the illuminated windmills by tour boat on those two evenings. Reserve your spot for the cruise past the windmills on our Illumination Week page!

No Molenmarkt

Employees of the Kinderdijk World Heritage Foundation (SWEK) will ensure that the many photographing visitors respect the 1.5 meters distance. The health of our guests, employees and residents is at all times our main priority. Enjoying this unique part of Holland is perfectly doable while keeping some distance from each other, even if you are taking a picture. Unfortunately, the organizing Playground ‘t Balkengat had to decide to cancel the traditional Molenmarkt on Friday evening. A modest edition will take place on the playground on 11 September.
