Mill market
The annual Mill market in World Heritage Kinderdijk is on Saturday, September 10 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Come and stroll around the Mill Market. Enjoy typical dutch ‘oliebollen’ and delicious ‘bolussen’. Children can get lovely face paintings or join one of the technical workshops. The Ship Model Building Association Ridderkerk (SMVR) is also present to introduce you to their work. There are demonstrations of model boats along the water.
Music association Apollo provides a musical accompaniment.
Organisation
The large-scale Mill market is organized by volunteers of playground association ‘t Balkengat from Kinderdijk. Unlike other years, the traditional Mill market will take place in World Heritage Kinderdijk on Saturday afternoon. The proceeds from the Mill Market are for the preservation and maintenance of the local playground.
Parking
The Mill Market is partly on the parking lot of World Heritage Kinderdijk. This means that today it is not possible to park your car near the entrance of the World Heritage.
You can park your car for free at the parking lot of Royal IHC. This is a short 10-minute walk away.

Of course you are also very welcome by bike! Please park your bike in the designated parking spaces. The parking attendant will show you the way.
